Ridwan Oloyede serves as Director of Policy and External Affairs at the AI Skills and Compute Africa Foundation (AISCA), a continental programme advancing AI skills, sovereign compute infrastructure, and economic pathways for young Africans. He co-founded Tech Hive Advisory, where he leads the emerging technologies governance practice and advises global technology companies and African institutions. He sits on the Expert Advisory Panel of the Global South AI Safety Report and on 2 working groups of the Smart Africa AI Council.
He serves as an expert with the Council of Europe’s Data Protection Unit and the OECD Community on Data Free Flow with Trust. He contributed African perspectives to the International AI Safety Report and the Global AI Observatory at the University of Zurich. Ridwan holds an LL.M. in Law and Technology from Tilburg University and is a Fellow of Information Privacy
