Kwame Fianko is a data and technology leader with extensive expertise in Data Governance, Enterprise Data Strategy, and business consulting. He is currently an Assistant Commissioner with the Ghana Revenue Authority(GRA) and serves as the Head of Data Mining & Analytics, where he has been pivotal in shaping the Authority’s data capabilities.
At GRA, Kwame has driven transformative initiatives, including the design and rollout of an Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence platform, the establishment of GRA’s Enterprise Data Governance programme, and the execution of several high-impact digitization and data-driven programs. His leadership has significantly advanced operational efficiency, strengthened data literacy, and delivered measurable value through innovation in revenue and cost optimization.
A professional member of the Data Management Association International (DAMA), Kwame is deeply committed to elevating data maturity across public sector institutions and loves mentoring Young Data Professionals. Prior to his tenure at GRA, he lead the establishment of the Data Analytics function of Deloitte Ghana and worked briefly with Ernst & Young, where he successfully led complex data strategy, assurance, and analytics engagements across diverse industries.
