At the Africa Digital Rights Hub, we strive to ensure a seamless experience for all participants of the Data Protection Africa Summit 2024. However, we understand that sometimes plans change, and you may need to cancel your registration. Below is our refund policy:
1. Cancellation Requests:
- All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via email to info@africadigitalrightshub.org.
- Please include your full name, registration confirmation number, and reason for cancellation in your request.
2. Refund Eligibility:
- Cancellations made 45 days or more before the Summit start date will be eligible for a 50% refund minus a processing fee.
3. Refund Processing:
- Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days of the receipt of the cancellation request.
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
4. Non-Refundable Items:
- Please note that any additional fees such as bank charges, service fees, or transaction fees are non-refundable.
5. Transfer of Registration:
- If you are unable to attend the Summit, you may transfer your registration to another person. Please notify us in writing at info@africadigitalrightshub.org with the new participant's details at least 14 days before the Summit start date.
6. Event Cancellation:
- In the unlikely event that the Data Protection Africa Summit 2024 is canceled by the organizers, all participants will receive a full refund of the fees paid. The Africa Digital Rights Hub is not responsible for any additional costs incurred by participants, such as travel or accommodation expenses.
