Aretha Mare is the Unit Manager for the Data and Security Infrastructure and Governance Unit at the Smart Africa Secretariat. In this role, she facilitates the development of data & security governance strategies and roadmaps and implementation of related pilot projects for a fair, trusted and secure data economy that works for the good of all Africans. She also convenes various data economy stakeholders across the continent for peer learning and engagement.
