Ridwan Oloyede
Ridwan is the acting director at the Center for Law and Innovation and the co-founder of Tech Hive Advisory Africa, where he leads the AI governance and technology policy teams. He has advised companies across Africa, Europe, and the Middle East on data protection, artificial intelligence governance, regulatory intelligence, digital ethics, and technology policy. He is a policy advisor and a researcher with extensive work across different thematic areas, focusing on Africa and contributing to policy development in other parts of the world. He has published and contributed to book chapters, reports, articles, and guides. Ridwan holds a Master's in Law and Technology from Tilburg University, Netherlands and is a Fellow of Information Privacy with the IAPP. He is designated as an expert at the Data Protection Unit of the Council of Europe and the OECD's Data Free Flow with Trust.
