Awo Aidam Amenyah, a leading advocate in child online protection and policy formulation, boasts a robust background in grassroots engagement. Notable achievements include spearheading the draft Ghana Gender Education Policy and organizing successful campaigns for alternative classroom management like the Positive Discipline Pack. With expertise in advocacy, non-profit management, and community mobilization, she has significantly influenced education policy and efforts to combat gender-based violence.

Since 2013, Awo has been a prominent voice for online child safety, demonstrating a deep understanding of Child Protection Implementation Standards. She is the implementation partner for Child Online Protection initiative of ITU and the Co- Chairs for the IGF Dynamic Coalition on Safety, Standard and Security (IS3C)

As the Executive Director of Child Online Africa, she leads initiatives promoting digital literacy and youth safety, annually convening Safer Internet Day celebrations since 2014. Author of The Silent Mountaineer: an inspiration and a call to action for Child Online Protection.
